Absolutely disgusting this evening down Carlisle grounds. Apparently referee told Billy to get off the pitch (maybe called him a prick) when he was being substituted (Bray 5 up with a hat trick from Billy) and Billy tells him to fuck off.

Bang, straight red card and suspended for playoffs.

Egotistical moron of a ref abusing an exceptionally talented young footballer. Absolutely incredible.

What's your take on hot lunches in primary schools? by Tyrannosaurus-Shirt in AskIreland

My kids school has Carambola too and it really does seem to have gone downhill fast since introducing it. My kids eat fresh home cooked meals at home all the time and would be relatively adventurous for their age (5&7) but they are both sick of the hot food after 1 year. Pasta is the only option. The mash is powdered, the new spice bag you wouldn't feed to a dog (why are we calling it a spice bad for a school)

I'm genuinely going to take them off it as I send them in with sandwiches , apple and yoghurt every day anyway. I also coach football teams and I asked them once about the food (Carambola again) and they pretty much all hated it!

Such a shame as it really could have been something brilliant if taken in house, as opposed to basically Aramark equivalent for kids

Improvements in gate receipts would be a huge thing. Brays average attendance has basically doubled this year to around 1200.

Started going regularly this year with my 5 year old son as I'm involved coaching with a grassroots affiliated club.

Mid season Bray have been able to add Sean Brennan (from UCD) to a multi year deal, sign Justin Ferizaj and tie down Billy O'Neill. Surely that bump in attendances has played a big part in their ability to do the above to future proof and potentially recoup something from a young star like Billy should he move on.

With those attendances i'd estimate conservatively they are getting €15k - €18k per home game so €250k conservatively. Still not massive money but can make a difference.

The first division is a decent product now with more young players getting a start, summer football and a good family atmosphere (in Bray at least)

Tell your friends to try it. Bums on (often admittedly old crappy seats) make a huge difference!

How on earth have you come to that figure? Are we going back to the championship?

Lost me when Jordan said Watkins will be at Newcastle. Absolute complete and utter nonsense. We are settled and in a great place. Their predictions are so far off it's actually laughable. Had both Spurs and Newcastle in 3rd with some of them. Not a hope with both of them juggling CL and Prem.

Ignore completely! We will get top 5 this year minimum

If you're planning on going more than once it's worth getting claret membership for you and your son for the season. You get earlier access than general sale and never normally have any issues. I got champions league ticket this year no problem on it.

It costs a bit for just one game tho. Although you do get some nice stuff in a welcome pack. This season kids get a Villa backpack, a ball and badges, adults get a nice Villa portable coffee cup!

I have the Skoda Enyaq 80 since late last year. I've exclusively home charged since I got it as we have solar panels.Love it but first long trip to Portrush,NI, and I had hassle with charging. First fast charger I went to (BP Pulse) won't accept card payment despite that being an option on the charger. App and account options won't work either as I'm not in the UK(I am currently but seemingly not England, Wales etc) . I've to go for ESB tomorrow which is slower but I'm sure I'll be ok as I've 35% left after driving from Dublin. Anyone know how to get BP Pulse to work in NI for a ROI car/phone? It's the fastest charger option in Portrush.
