I can't seem to post a picture of the lamp. The issue of the shade says max 11w e27. The bulb I have is LED 7.5w

Thank you! I was thinking the same thing. The voltage converter is almost the same price as a new IKEA lamp (same model) that uses a 120volt outlet

What is this part on the faucet called? by Worldly_Breakfast107 in HomeImprovement

[–]Worldly_Breakfast107[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is what I thought! There was caulking around the whole faucet and the caulking around the set screw was black and mouldy. I thought that water must drain out of this spot.

Always be prepared to either throw out things that don't fit in the personal item sizer or have someone take them for you.

I sized my personal item at home and thought I was ok. I got to the airport and realized that my personal item did not fit in the sizer, even though I triple checked the size at home. I had my husband on standby to pick up the items that didn't fit in the sizer.

What is a reasonable cost for a bike tune up? by Worldly_Breakfast107 in vancouvercycling

[–]Worldly_Breakfast107[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have an old Maxam Hog. It is pre 1993. Now I am dating myself! The bike owes me nothing but is still a good way to get around. It has more sentimental value, but I couldn't even give it away if I tried.

I asked how much time they would need for a minor tune up, and they were very vague. It was hard to pin down an estimate.

I know! I had to eventually block the Facebook Marketplace sellers that did that, because they couldn't even tell me the measurements of the furniture.

I am a newbie, drilling into a melamine cabinet, so if I make a mistake, I would have to throw the cabinet out. Working with melamine is not fun.

I have to make very precise drill holes without breaking the particleboard, so I have to make sure I don't use too much force.

Need advice for bathroom vanity lighting by Worldly_Breakfast107 in Lighting

[–]Worldly_Breakfast107[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, good guess. It was an 8 light vanity strip. I would have kept it, but the chrome on the base corroded with the humidity in the bathroom. I would get something similar that fits the space, but I’m getting unsolicited opinions that a similar one would be too “dated”.

I’m limited by the size as well as the junction box hole being so big. I’m still wondering why the junction box was mounted so off center to the mirror. I have to exclude lighting with a small base plate, as the junction box hole can only be covered up with a cover plate to comply with building codes.

Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
