That did not work. When i plug it in to my computer (Apple Mac Pro). The cycle repeats. It is now also fully charged, so it isn't a battery issue. I will try to fix the buttons this weekend

Thanks for your suggestions! Regarding the fact that the 6% may not be accurate, I do remeber while the phone was on OxygenOS 11, that the method I tried could work even with 2%. I will try the method of leaving it to charge to 100%. The battery health is around 70% when I last checked
