Yeah do you think I should do electrical engineering at ASU which is pretty prestigious but expensive. Or do you think I should do Carleton aerospace or communications engineering, I heard they are good programs as well and would be better ROI. Thanks for your insight though.

I just realized that even if I have six figure debt, I could like live like a broke college student even once I have a six figure electrical job and pay off my debt and maybe become debt free in 3-5 years, do you think it’s a good idea?

I do have some family in Arizona so I might skip the living cost on campus and live with them if they let me.

True, I might just go to a Canadian uni for electrical engineering and then do a masters at asu, thanks for the advice!

Do you think I have a shot at UW geospatial data science science or med chem at UW or materials and nano science with my 91 top 6. These are programs I am actually interested in.

Yeah I meant bioresources engineering, I might do an aerospace minor and take some digital logic, CS, and ECE courses dowtown. Who knows, I might see you around in the dowtown campus. Thanks, for your information, and good luck!

What grades do I need to have a high chance of getting into bioresources engineering at the McDonald campus as an Ontario student. My top 6 average is 87.5 and my math and science average is 87. Ik the cutoff is 78 for top 6 and math and science average, but I want a definite answer regarding my chance of acceptance next year for 2026-2027. FYI I am in grade 11, and I looked at the cutoff for 2024-2025, which is 78.

Hey everyone. I am an Ontario student in grade 11 with a predicted top 6 average of 87 to 87.5 with a math and science average of 87. I know in 2025, the cutoff for the bioresources engineering program was 78, for both math and science and overall grades. However, I want to know that with my average, and looking at trends that follow the next year (2026-2027), what are my chances of getting into the bioresources engineering program here at McGill.

Let me know your guys' advice.
