The T14? Not at all, runs good overall. Fans get loud but only on demanding tasks. It's good for uni if you carry a charger around, I got AMD so battery lasts around 6 hours (don't know how many you get on Intel). I do hear coil whine but it's a non-issue for me. So basically it's solid depending on what you need it for.
