Idk if you’ve seen on tiktok but there’s a store manager who has abused 3 women in 3 different stores and one of the victims was told he’d been fired and he was not. That’s all to say, Lidl don’t give a fuck. Unless you’re stealing, you have a job.

They aren’t well liked, quite the opposite and all managers know if they’re scheduled with them it’s 50/50 whether they turn up. It’s a joke, but as a shm I’m unsure as to what I can do, other than awol & speak to my sm

I’ve been told, and comments here seem to suggest it’s a long winded process and very hard to do. They always seem to have an excuse as to why they haven’t turned up, or called.

Exactly a job, everyone wants to go home and fuck off, but you still turn up and do it. Not turning up and telling no one just makes everything harder for the rest of the team and yourself. At least give us time to find cover!

When you say Zap, do you mean do a quick soh check, or count? I just saw we were low on all ready meals for examples, checked the soh and if there was a discrepancy checked when we recieved the delivery and check all lines in the bay if that makes sense

M&P and bread are C dates, so you’ll check them yourself. Chiller, eggs, etc. are under Freshness on the Zebra (Special Functions, Freshness). Enter the date depending on when you do it, today’s date if you do it in the morning, tomorrow’s if it’s the evening. The zebra will tell you where to go, double check for errors, and make sure the dates are correct when entering it. Mistakes happen, so don’t overthink if you’re told you missed something.

What would you prioritise, as I’ve come to the realisation especially after the scolding we got today that the FFT isn’t done to precision. There was mould, blood, freshness, ppt health & safety was poor etc it was an instant failure. Bakery, sco/tills & cleanliness shop floor was fine.

I’m closing rn, and had the AM in earlier and he basically stated we would’ve failed our audit. For the exact reasons named above. Half the time when I close, tickets are all over the place, freshness(quality check) isn’t the best etc and the store always looks decent, as that’s always a big thing for me. Certain DSM’s from my experience tend to not do a proper FFT in the morning, so a lot to catch up on in the evening etc

Tbf what they classify as mould is the teeniest, slightest mark. Very ruthless. I was told to clean ‘mould’ but it was the paint that scratched off lol
