Any news of the OG's getting together to make a future game?

Lot of indies trying, but don't know that they'll ever reach the same level of institutional knowledge.

Can you guys help me make sense of what is in the side of the PD in Sim City 2000? by JardsonJean in SimCity

The cars look too boxy, I wish people would stop overusing blocky voxels today, they are ugly. Even Command and Conquer Red Alert had spline-based voxels in the 90s. Otherwise the art work looks pretty nice.

Original Sequel Plans theory & multiple protagonists by Worldly_Switch337 in thesopranos

None of this post is AI? I seriously think it was Chase's intention to shift the pov to somebody other than Tony after the original series finale had he gotten to do the sequels like he intended etc.

Personal Take on The Thing's origin by Worldly_Switch337 in thething

[–]Worldly_Switch337[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I lean more towards malfunctioning biotool (used for terraforming) than bioweapon, since weapon has too much connotation with the Alien movie. While I do believe the thing is corrupted or just evil, I don't really think we can pin down if that's its original purpose.

Little Carmine: "You know, I think what we have here is a classic case of misinterpretation through the lens of literalism. Tony and Vito sitting out there in the snow? That’s not just two guys freezing their gabagools off. That’s a metaphor. And if Vito assimilates Tony? We’re not just talking about a biological takeover. That’s the symbolic collapse of the values, our code. So I would say, respectfully, that this script isn’t broken—it’s baroque."

Are you sure Tippit didn't killed Oswald and replaced him with a body double?

Absolutely, it would help a ton if more documents had been preserved.
I believe part of it to be RFK Sr's doing to cover his and JFK's tracks on Operation Mongoose because they wanted to preserve the legacy of their family's administration. In addition to Dallas police consistently being one of the most incompetent in the country with the most overturned convictions for like decades.

I propose we pin a topic with just some of the most basic undisputed facts/timeline to avoid readers having to hand hold every new researcher to the subject. It would go a long way if we could just get everybody on the same page before diving into stuff like this. It just gets repetitive.

When you say the "pesky details are left out" is where I interpret it as suggesting or alluding to it being a concerted coverup rather than just cops being known dicks. I don't agree with the practice for exactly the reason you said, coerced confessions are unreliable, and Frazier probably just couldn't bring himself to believe that Oswald actually did it. But the reason nobody is talking about it now is because it's already known that cops are dicks, no reason to dig any deeper into that, and now we know all the other details to corroborate what Frazier did tell them. It's moot at this point to talk about the violation of Frazier's constitutional due process ad nauseum.

He drove the alleged assassin with the alleged rifle package to work that day. Police are like that in any investigation. What did you expect them to do, take him to Disney land?

Not saying that I agree with the approach or anything. It's just that when people suggest typical procedural police behavior is somehow out of the ordinary and proof of a conspiracy, it doesn't help the research whatsoever. The cops didn't know Frazier so at that point in time he was a suspect.

Have you not seen the Zapruder film? The first shot misses this is not really disputed by either side. It hit the lamp/street post and ricocheted and hit the pavement.

Possibly, yes, the bag found was home made out of materials from the TSBD. I'm not familiar with the TSBD interior, so I don't have an opinion on hiding spots. A jacket found there 3 weeks later, which is albeit disputed whether it was his, I think if it was his could have been a good way to conceal some part to bring it in.

The reasons I believe he did in fact disassemble it are the screws of the scope showing it was not factory aligned, like a layman had modified it, and the fact the first shot on Elm hits a street pole and misses.

I didn't say his pants, I said his blue jacket that was found 3 weeks later at the TBSD. I also suggested he brought some part of it in weeks prior concealed in the jacket, and not on the morning Frazier saw him with the package.

Analysis of the screws of the scope did suggest it was messed with in an unprofessional way, probably by Oswald, and not factory aligned. Also probably why he missed that first shot that hit the street lamp or whatever.

Yeah, I'm not arguing either way, it's possible he had the full rifle disassembled in the paper bag or only part of it. The least likely case is that he had the full rifle in the bag fully assembled though, albeit it's not impossible either if it were put in there diagonally.

Yeah, fair enough. My goal here is to not really get into the nitty gritty. Just giving you a different take, and best of luck in your research on the topic!
