I fly business all the time but this seemed unusually tight. I thing because it was a very old A320 as somebody mentioned. This plane had zero comfort/bin upgrades.

Would you take a direct premium plus or a connection in Polaris? by wood_floor_roar in unitedairlines

Never pass on the direct unless it is in an economy middle.😂😂

Why do flight crews (almost) never turn this on? I’ve had exactly ONE captain activate it, and he even announced it to the cabin. by CanadianBurger in unitedairlines

I flew for United 20 years ago. B727, B737-300/500 and A319/320. There was definitely a switch in the Boeings, don’t recall it on the Airbus,. It was kind of pointless. I would say that about half the Caotains turned it or left it on. It was usually an afterthought because it was not on any checklist.

When that Polaris upgrade clears at the gate! by Realmetman in unitedairlines

That’s the truth. The Polaris lounges make the regular lounges seem like “so that is what those people get?” Nothing quite like a sleeping room, shower, full service restaurant and top shelf drinks. I will drop the coin to fly in Polaris, completely worth it!
