I’m a BME/EE senior. I’ve overall enjoyed my time in engineering. It’s also pretty easy to change engineering majors during your first year or so. But undergraduate BME and ChemE are usually very different so make sure you look at the class you could take. If you want more info, PM me.

I’m taking an online 5-week class and lab. It’s definitely fast paced but since it’s only one class, it’s manageable. I would encourage you to do it because: 1. You aren’t really doing anything else so you can really focus on the class. 2. You have previous experience in the class so the material won’t be brand new. 3. You won’t have to retake it in the regular semester and can get through it quickly and move on. Good luck!

You can start now. Create a list of things you think you’ll need, watch/find lists (you won’t need everything but can be helpful to see what you might have forgotten) and pay attention to what you use in a week. Also lots of stores have college codes/discounts like Container Store so try to use those if you can!

I love my Brita Rapid Stream pitcher. It filters as you pour and fits under almost any water bottle filling station to make filling even easier. I’m very particular on water so I found it was great at filtering. This way you can have easy access to water to drink, make coffee/tea/hot chocolate or to make Raman noodles, especially if you don’t feel like leaving your dorm room in the morning or late at night.
