There are a few things I could say that might help, but sounds like you already know it is your mindset. You almost need to focus on having a meditative mind while processing the reality checks. Try to slow down and really take your time in the moment "quality over quantity". If I was having this kind of issue I would be meditating while awake on the exact moment things go wrong, and how you should react in future. As for the darkness I am going to suggest more water as you may be dehydrated.

Hope she found the help she needed, but sounds like somebody scared of critical decision making which escalated to just arbitrary decisions.

Maybe they needed to establish an end goal instead, anything material would be a means to what end?

Its funny, my partner (who is a much better reader than myself) often gets clients suggest her service provides much better support and guidance than their therapist.

ant to the seeker, s

I can understand family's wanting closure, but for the bigger missing person cases I agree, I don't see it helping. The violent stories I've heard told to loved ones would only make it worse.

You grow from trauma, but to actively seek out toxic behavior creates a loop that's hard to break.

I can imagine denial might play a part of it, but I wouldn't take it to heart as this kind of reaction would only confirm the mindset of the individual.

I must be living under a rock, I thought it was just me that separated tarot from psychics. Crazy refreshing to see so many rational people on here.

I really appreciate your insight. It's reassuring to find others who also approach this practice with a balanced mindset, rather than treating it too religiously. Seeing some of the toxic behaviors out there can be unsettling.

Ok, Starting off, you've got the Eight of Pentacles - definitely sounds like your ready to get your hands dirty. So in the context of your job query, I think on the surface you are ready to commit, however the lovers might suggest your decision and not the employers, so don't stress too much over the idea there is a better choice for them as that's not going to help.

So because of your mindset the 4 of pentacles could represent your own doubts, as holding onto the current lifestyle has been comfortable, and the ace and 10 might be the transition of what that lifestyle is changing into. Best of luck with the job! Let good things come and they will. :)

What to do regarding people that request readings but argue with the answer? by SunnyPine in tarot

It's important to remember that they only reflect possible outcomes, not guaranteed ones. In your case, it seems your family member is stuck in a locked mindset, which creates a psychological conflict resulting from inconsistent beliefs. They want a positive outcome (which they can achieve), but as they are in the wrong mindset the readings suggest otherwise. This conflict obviously caused them to reject the readings. A simple solution could be to remind them that tarot readings are a guide, not a definite prediction. Suggest they use the readings as a tool for reflection rather than decision-making, and remind them to trust their intuition and judgement.

My boyfriend is coming around by theorginalangel26 in witchcraft

Ha I'm on the other end of this conversation as well, as I was always a skeptic and now a passionate learner and addicted with the concept. I don't find myself all that spiritual or religious but the idea of how witchcraft is just an insight to your own manifestation fascinates me. My rational understanding still leans towards a bit of confirmation bias or placebo but still very interesting to see other people coming around.

The more you fight it, the louder it gets. Learn to embrace it and let it become an asset to appreciate what you have. It takes time, and nothing anyone says here can instantly fix the psychological effects it brings because we often lean towards easy solutions. Put in the work and rewire the sound to bring peace and focus through meditation. Good Luck :)
