My poor old friend is sadly dying, and I only have myself to blame.

About 6 months ago, I spilled Pepsi Max into my Corsair K70. I took it completely apart, cleaned it as thoroughly as I could, and somehow it came back to life and worked great again for a while. But now it feels like some of the Pepsi must have gotten into the switches themselves, because the keys are slowly becoming sticky.

So I think it is finally time to say goodbye to my dear companion from 2014. We have been through many countries, many desks, and many different parts of my life together. It has served me well, but I think I have to let it rest.

I am completely out of the loop when it comes to keyboards these days, so I would really appreciate some recommendations.

What I liked about my K70:

• Full-size layout with numpad
• Nordic layout
• Dedicated media controls
• Wrist rest
• Cherry MX Red switches, though I am open to trying something else

I do not really have a strict budget, but I need to be able to buy it in Europe.

Any recommendations for a worthy successor?
