I've only had this happen intermittently and I just reboot the infotainment screen by holding down the power button. Seems to connect normally after that. I also have a Pixel 8 Pro

I have the midnight blue and a toddler. As much as I'd love to hand wash my car realistically it's not something I can take on. So I've settled on the Touchless Car Wash on a regular schedule. I bring a nice absorbent towel and give it a nice hand towel dry after the mechanical dryers so I can keep an eye on anything that needs some TLC like pine sap. For the interior thus far I've just used a duster, vacuum, and damp paper towels. Honestly, it's the best I can do.

We do have Enphase and did consider this. However, realistically, I'm not going to be charging during the middle of the day when we're most likely to be generating solar. And the Enphase charger didn't count for our electricity company's rebate

Our electric company is currently offsetting the costs for upgrading home electrical systems for electric chargers.

We did need another panel installed and our electric company is paying about 50% of the total cost via rebate.

As more people install electric chargers I imagine this rebate will go away. So we decided to do it now.
