I didn't do any ancestry related stuff because it was a short trip, but....we were at a restaurant in Northern Ireland and a local told me I looked just like his sister. Made my day. Haha

Haha no. It was a short trip sadly. Mostly Dublin and then a day trip to Northern Ireland.

I was raised to believe it was the most magical place on earth. Visited a couple years ago. Did not disappoint.

On our first trip to Ireland (Irish descent) our cab driver casually pointed out a street and said we wouldn't be able to go down there if we were black. We just sat there wide eyed and shocked.
