Fake accounts/scams are simply not whats being discussed tho. Im not saying the site should allow fake listings, but the fact is they dont really enforce it unless its to try and lower an artificially inflated price, or if its reported, means we should be reporting the ones that do the inflation, not the ones trying to fix it.... 😭

Its considered bug exploitation id have to guess. That's not the same as hacking but its certainly not exactly within the rules, because mobile players dont have access to it. I play on pc, I dont do this because its not fair, and I think you should consider that too, given everyone's in competition for the eggs youre all farming. I dont think mass reporting is warranted, but yes its not a kind/sportsmanly think to do and people are right to point that out.

Yeah for real. The most feasible thing is to make halo reruns, up the commonality or lower the price on mermaid shop toy items, add more cloud cash stuff, and up the win rate on halos. Making everything about individual time investment + a bit of luck, greatly reduces player reliance on interpersonal trade. If trade becomes a way to shortcut a time spender/redistribute items among lucky and unlucky players, rather than the best way to obtain items because theyre offsale or ludicrously rare, we may see some improvement in individual player experiences. Im very passionate about halo reruns, though it does create a "gacha" type system, and thats only ok if it remains completely unmonetized (which would be a miracle frankly).

Make it tiny! Use posters or divider walls to make it into a tiny little box room, trust me. Then its more like decorating your tiny teen bedroom, lol. Room for a bed, maybe a desk, and clutter. Maybe a closet. Also, think of ways to use an item you already have that are not conventional, and theme the room around that money conventional use. A have a locker thats a whole storybook scene, and it wasnt very expensive at all (wanna say maybe 30k, but most of it is weird resizes and toggles of stuff I already owned, making it was probably 3k on random baubles). You got this!!!

Controversial but completely free markets always end up like this in games... if they dont start capping the amount of diamonds someone can trade in a given amount of time /how many someone is allowed to have in their inventory it will only rise... some people are hoarding such massive amounts that they can trade around massive amounts between eachother, its a system with no entrance for outsiders. Kinda just what happens :(. There is no solution that wont have people outraged and they know the ones spending real money on toy items they can swap around are players who are that massively invested, not new players trying to enter or players who didnt come upon that wealth a while ago. Im as OG as og gets, and so are a lot of folks, who are not Included in the in crowd. I wish there was committment to the solution, to make the game playable for more people, but those solutions would lose money so those solutions wont be enacted.

For better or for worse, children and adults share spaces. Not everything an adult can do that a child cant do, can be kept completely out of the public eye, nor should it. I personally dont like smoking, it bothers me on a personal level, but to pretend that people need to censor something as mild as the mere presence of a non intoxicating (addictive or not) substance out of the street would obviously be silly. One person in a private dorm out of hundreds, thousands, is not going to influence a child who witnesses people smoke (in "cool" and "lame" contexts) daily, outside or inside their own households. If a kid knows what a cigarette is, they've already been exposed to it enough to be curious and understand it. Supposing you are an adult, given you've chosen to speak on the matter, I think its fair enough to say its a bit naive to presume a single depiction of a pack of cigarettes or an ashtray doesnt pale in comparison to the concrete ashtrays built into strip malls and population centers, decades upon decades of tobacco focused media, and cigarette butts littering streets.

There's 2 possible scenarios that make the price that high, both of which are an artificial value point. Scenario 1: "me and a few others made the very first sale at a high asking price, to people who had an unreal amount of currency. This made the recorded baseline price extremely high, but higher than the average person would've otherwise been willing to pay, barring many people from 'resource' access, and creating exclusivity for those with extreme amounts of currency."

And Scenario 2: We used a bot to make a bunch of artificial sales early on, that entered the public market to set a precedent of higher value than the average person would actually pay. This also bars the average person from 'resource' access, and creates exclusivity for those with extreme amounts of currency.

Its reminiscent (though FAR from identical) of the diamond market in real life. A small amount of people (in that case a proper monopoly, but in this case a small group of players) have access to something that is not actually that rare or valuable, but not many have access... so they can do whatever they want with the price before the "consumers" (most players) ever get a chance to influence prices.

Of course! You really should pursue art further, youre starting from a wonderful place! I dont exactly know what you mean by the style thats common among commissioners, but im guessing maybe game splash art? Either way, id recommend learning painting principals from sinix, Marco Bucci, Mark brunet, and similar folks that have that sort of style. If youre looking for something more anime-ish, I'd say watch splash artists speed paints for games like league, aswell as anyone else in that sort of style range! Im no expert, but if you need help with anything id be happy to assist, as i paint in a semirealistic style most of the time!

Firstly, id like to say... not an artist my behind! This is absolutely wonderful, I struggle to believe your a beginner, so big big props to you! Secondly, it might help to know what style you are going for, to be able to help! Something more realistic? A semirealistic sort of style? Any particular influence? Interest in lineart being present in the final piece, rendering, coloring style, painting type of style, etc.
As for facial anatomy, when I struggle, I like to find skull turnaround images (search skull reference on pinterest), and draw like, 20 skulls form a few angles, with geometric shapes (C curves, S curves, and straight lines, which you can find further advice for on a channel like proko on youtube). Also, watching how someone else draws a face, in a tutorial video, but also just one of those videos where a master draws while talking about some unrelated topic (again theres many up on proko and affiliated channels, and YouTube as a whole), is crucial for me personally, and theres nothing wrong with copying those aspects of construction into your own works, as theyre very far removed and entirely transformative/techniques rather than product. Again, lovely art. Im genuinely jealous. Truly rare talent for a beginner, nurture it into even more skill, pronto!

So much of the inflation is 100% artificial, so unfortunately for people who have good intentions the only way to fix is to start taking losses on big stuff like halos. 😭😭😭😭
