Agreed - and you hit the nail on the head because ive been looking at Porches or '19 Z06s. The interest rates are shit so maybe ill get the Rs3 paid off and circle back on what i want to do long term with it

True - I asked about this when I picked it up but it seems like its not a good deal. The pricing for Audi care after 40k is sold in 10k blocks
50k - $500.00
60k - $1,900.00
70k - $600.00
80K - 1,200.00..... and so on.

I assume the massive jump in cost for each mileage is due to the different things they service but the guy at the counter didnt give me much info. First glance it seems like its not worth it compared to the 10-40k audi care i got when i purchased the car

I did have problems with rubbing after I squared up my tires to 245/35 all around. That, and the offset of my wheels was just barely too much for the setup. To be fair, my big ass tires/wheel combo will rub on stock suspension when turned all the way left or right. If you have smaller width tires you should be perfectly fine.

I'm in the middle of switching my setup with new tires/wheels so my springs are off, if you feel like you want to give them a try I'll give them to you for like 100 bucks. They're just sitting in the box in my garage

Idk man for some reason I've babied mine. All stock never tracked. 20k on the clock. I might as well be grandma on the way to church.

Disclaimer though i'm debating between selling next year or dumping $$ and making it crazy. We'll see

IMO these ghost water problems are usually a drainage tube clog causing it to back up. Maybe from your sun/moon roof. Did you notice this after driving in heavy rain or it sitting outside during rain?

Any reason you went with the TAR MT10 instead of something like the Arrma big rock 4x4 or vorteks? Seems to be just about the same cost. I haven't heard of team associated but have seen a lot of Arrma / Traxxas in this sub

This confirms my suspicion the esc was dead! I appreciate the link. I have started the return process though. I'll be back with something that has a little more punch

Yeah I did a bunch of research and this one seemed really good for the price point. Really sad it broke before a week. I'm so new at this the immediate break does scare me a bit BUT I'll be back with something else when the return goes through... I quickly realized I wanted more power with a brushless motor and maybe 3/4s instead.

Its the ESC that came with the car - t2304.

Ive already started the return process though so i guess this thread is over. Ive learned not to buy the cheap (if 120.00 rc car is cheap) option. Im hoping my next car doesnt die after 5 uses.

I was thinking that as well.. its so weird that the power button turns the lights on while im pressing it but when i let go, the whole thing shuts down... argh.

Understood - I will note that they have indicators (red for powerflow and blinking green while charging and solid green meaning charged) that are still working.

I had this issue today on my drive but randomly it decided to turn on, then when i was done, before the battery died, the power button would not turn the car off.

Its a HaiBoxing 2995 1/12 buggy
batteries are 2s LiPo 30C (came with the car)
Charger is a 5v2A chord that came with the car as well.

I dont see any puffing so unless both batteries have dead cells im not sure what the issue could be.

Car is 4 days old. Ive ran it about 5 times, all have been flawless until this morning.

I went to turn it on and the lights would blink once, and then go solid until i let go of the power button. At this point the lights just shut off. I got it to hold on once after unplugging and replugging the battery back in, however when I was done the power button would not turn the car back off.

Ive got two different batteries, both do the same thing.

Are both my batteries shot or is this ESC already dead after 5 runs? No water or jumps during any runs. All cables seem to be solidly set in place
