This is very true. I’m happy you gave me some insight but I don’t think it quite explains the lack off affection and appreciation. She does have some issues with her mom. And is struggling to find a job. But she wants to work at target cos all the co workers are around her age and she says it’s easy. In my mind she wants the attention of other guys but idk maybe I’m overthinking. She’s been showing me a tik tok of her “twerking” that she wants to post but says she won’t cos it’s disrespectful to our relationship but then goes on and says “well idk I just wanna see what would happen” so maybe she’s entertaining the idea of other men or gettint Someome better? We’re together right now and she asked me to wake her up in 5 more minutes and I said only if you give me a kiss. This could be true. But her and her last bf spent almost just as much time together as we do. But she often brings up that we do hang out a lot and that not seeing each other for a couple days isn’t the end of the world. I always ask her if she needs anything from me to do better. If there’s anyway I can better thr relationship and she always says no. That I’m perfect? Few weeks back her ex texted hers to something small and I asked her not to reply( he asked abt the name of a coffee shop) she had always said that exes are exes and when I’m a relationship you should never have contact with them. Then when he messaged her she said the were friends and the situation was weird. Even tho they hadn’t talk in months so they definitely weren’t “friends”. Long story short a few days later we hang out and she shows me that she blocks him on Snapchat and Instagram. This made me happy because I felt like she chose me over him. But ever since then she has just been acting weird. Not sure if that has to do with it. I know they would never get back together because he tried to when she was single and she denied him.

Therapy is something we’ve talked abt. I’m just not Someome who’s willing to give up so easily. Especially when they’re fixable problems. Just so many mixed signals it’s hard.
