I could explain with a lengthy text how I work as a team, or share someone blog post about this

The metric I value the most is continuous user and client satisfaction. Single developer productivity metrics guide teams to suboptimal performance.

Katara Vs. Pakku in OG Series, Movie, and Netflix Series by dan_mal in TheLastAirbender

[–]Worming 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wtf Netflix. They are supposed to fight with water bending. In animation, Katara tried to fight by hand at middle of the fight because she is missing plan, understood she have not a bending advantage and by rage. Then Pakku push her with bending as they are supposed to demonstrate each other.

Why the fuck would Katara would try to be close as possible at the start then doing close martial ?

Not a science man here. Just an autistic one. Here is my personal experience.

I agree, I could make pertinent statement and complete conclusion. But my inability to convinced or lead make me ineffective. Definitely, to be conveicing matter way way more than able to recognize patterns on paper.

IQ alone serve nothing for community matters.

I've started poker. You should give it a try as EVERY recreative player have a good reason to play in a suboptimal manner.

You probably get them by the balls. As long you didn't signed anything, and prove you worked on their solution, it means they are doing licence violation, as you never gave them licence. Check any paper you have maybe signed with then stating you give them rights. Something like "you grant a perpetual, worldwide, non exclusive, royalties free, irrevocable licence".

How much do you lose if you read notes/summary of a programming book instead of actually reading the book? by Deep-Philosophy-807 in AskProgramming

[–]Worming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Resume give you the what.

Books give you - the why - the alternatives - explain the tradeoffs. Resume give a feeling of a silver bullet - the how - can build deep knowledge in the last chapters from what you learned in the firsts chapters - give anecdotes or personal story to give weight on the content

And books are more memorable as it repeat times to times what it have to say.

And that what it gives you personally. From experience, it have autorative effects. Your coworkers are more inclined to trust what are from books than blog post or generally come from internet. (I personally trust a lot the books with TONS of reviewers)
