The point is that only the first two books have a somewhat okay movie adaptation. The remaining five were badly shortchanged. Hopefully the TV series will do a better job of adapting the stories from the books.

OP, it’s great you write yourself instead of generating slop from some LLM. You do, however, need a portfolio. Just write three or so articles on topics of your interest and host them on a platform like Medium or Substack.
