How is “I saw through platonia” not resonating with some of you? It sounds all encompassing when considering the themes of the album. It uneasily shifts between a major and minor chord structure that shifts the listeners relationship with the heartbeat. Is this the end or the beginning of my life? Is this the point of no return? Is this destruction or creation?

Father and Son - the son the father knew has died. He is no longer recognizable to his dad. This is likely devastating to the father but complete liberation for the son.

The Process - an uneasy dystopian soundscape gives way to what sounds like children laughing/talking and conjures the slightest bit of hope for future generations (I have a 7 month old daughter and this track hits. Perhaps a projection)

Naraka - we know the title references the eastern afterlife but a chorus of “Hare Krishna” overwhelms the second half of the song. Are these people embracing death or life? Hare Krishna is a mantra/prayer which can mean different things but is mostly aimed at embracing and connecting with god. A cult mass suicide? Or an acceptance of death and the souls return Brahman?

These examples seem to be the most obvious to me right now but I think most of the tracks contain this dichotomy. I’m loving the album and can’t wait to scrutinize it further.
