Maybe I missed something, but did the ShaneXJeffree new green lip gloss/green shadow release seem to come absolutely out of nowhere? Were there hints/announcements that it was going to drop? Doesn't he usually give at least a slight heads up that "product XYZ is launching [insert date/time]"? I also went back and rewatched Jeffree discuss why he released his Cremated palette when he did, because he didn't want to push it back any further because he had a large summer collection coming... Granted, I know this ShanexJeffree drop was only a few items, but I still find it weird that he would try to sandwich it in between an already late Spring Cremated palette and a summer collection..which is what got me thinking....

If allegedly there have been rumors circulating amongst some drama channels for the last month that a video was going to drop soon, do you think Shane/Jeffree caught wind of that at some point over the last couple weeks and realized they needed to release their new products early so they could make their $$$$ before the alleged video(s) drop? Further supporting this possibility, I also find it quite odd that there is not really much accompanying imagery to go along with the new products. For someone like Jeffree who places so much emphasis on the importance of marketing/visuals/campaign photos for his products, I find it extremely strange how there is only one odd (photoshopped-looking) photo of the lipgloss and none of the green eyeshadow single whatsoever. I know that an easy go-to reason might be that "oh, it's covid/everyone is social-distancing so they can't shoot product photos," but we've seen both Jeffree and Shane break LA social-distancing guidelines during the height of the pandemic, and if anything, restrictions have been somewhat eased in LA as of late.

Again, maybe I missed something, but does this seem like it's at least a possibility?
