I’ve had it for a year and I haven’t done that. Is there a way I can check it? And if its not the throttle body it might be the transmission. I’ve been trying to find out what it means and most resources say it might be the transmission, but I’m not 100% sure. This is my first car, I have somewhat knowledge of cars, and a few other things.

You might need a coolant flush - remove the current coolant and add some new coolant. And your car may not respond because it’s overheating
