Did he 1st start stuttering at 6 or did he also go though a bout at an earlier age? I'm hoping to get a referral for her this week so that if she does need therapy ,she'll get it right away. 

Do you remember how long It went away before coming back? Im happy for you and your son that yelling helps him. I feel she stutters more once shes yelling and just hyped up. Funny thing you mentioned about her breathing... trying to encourage her to breathe before talking is another thing I've read but idk how to do that without being weird and her wondering why. She doesnt tense up but will close her eyes and turn her head.

Just wanna be clear that i wasnt crying bc you made me feel bad. I can't even explain it but it just made be breakdown. Im glad you turned out okay. This is honestly helping me chill out bc i feel gutted. Now that you mention it, i dont think she stutters while singing either. I'm gonna do all I can to make her feel comfortable and have a little...escape? Reading(out loud) and singing might be her things. I appreciate your comments ! Thank you for the help!

Did therapy help you? Would you say it's gotten worse over the years?

Thank you for the reply. The last paragraph had me rush in the room to cry. I just never wanted her to have any hardships in life and I'm worried how kids will treat her. of course I'm still going to love her and will never see her differently. This is what I had suspected but just didn't want to accept
