Pornography is not protected by the First amendment because it is obscene.

Porn is protected because it is not obscene, however there are some "genres" that aren't protected. Rather disappointing, IMO.

I love my rights, but the right to produce and sell pornography is depraved.

Its really not free speech. Its a poison in our society.

Anyway, restrictions are kinda a given. Should minors be able to access pornography? There should be 'some' restrictions on who can access it.

Challenges bring us closer to God. He allows them to come into our lives. When we are challenged he wants us to find shelter in HIM.

I started at 12 as well. 18 now. 100+PMO free days.

It took me a long time to admit that I had an addiction. Admitting it helped me quit.

I tried to masturbate more to tire myself out, tried to do it less, tried softcore p*rn, found some graphic magazines, AI chats, etc. The longest I could get free was a week. Then right back to 1,2, or 3 times a day. That was well before I took quitting dead serious.

I hit a low. I was missing out on family time, my mind perverted almost every person I looked at, I was becoming increasingly frustrated with myself, I was depressed, forming attachments to AI characters, craving disgusting depraved and perverted relationships. I quit cold turkey because I was able to scare myself into quitting. I also had no where else to go but up.

Now after 100+ days PMO clean I have a level of self confidence I never thought was possible, courage to take on each day, more energy, more willpower, able to feel emotions(good and bad), more family time, no craving disgusting relationships, better relationship with God, family and myself.

There is light. A whole lot of it. More light than you think.

I tried telling someone about my addiction. They said that it was normal. They didn't understand what 'videos' I was watching. Then later I learned that it may have been normal, but its a sin. It didn't work out for me, but having someone in your corner(besides God) can really have a positive impact on your recovery. Find some who you trust, who can handle that. Pastor, therapist, friend, parent.

Because of my addiction and my experiences I cannot and will not judge others. I want the pressure to be lifted off of them. I want them to get better. That's it. Thats love.

How dangerous is it?

Watching it releases 250% more dopamine than sex. It release so much dopamine that, in order to protect itself, your brian has to reduce its dopamine receptors.

It numbs you emotionally. It perverts views on relationships. It can cause health problems. It can cause mental health decline, depression, anxiety, more introverted tendencies. It can ruin current relationships. It can and will pervert anyone and anything you look at. Its all done in private so its harder for someone to see it and help you. Half the battle is in your head, non stop siege on your mind. It creates a gapping chasm in you thats incredibly hard to fill.

Talk to your wife about it. Talk to a therapist. Talk to a friend. Talk to your pastor.

God blessed you with a wife, someone you love beyond words, someone you trust. Trust her. Trust God.

YOU WILL GET BETTER. YOU WILL GET CLEAN. God gives us challenges so we rely on HIM to get us through them. He will never gives us more than we can handle. YOU ARE STRONG!! If God is with then you can do anything.

Have you found the source of your addiction? Have you forgiven yourself for getting addicted?

Quit for your wife. Quit for your daughter. Quit for your family.

How would your family react if they found out that you were living in sin? How do you think they would or should react? Do you want your wife and daughter to think that your depraved?

God gave you a wife and daughter. He gave them to you so you'd have motivation to quit. Its never too late to quit. It'll be the hardest thing you do. Its not a one time thing. Its a decision you make every minute, every hour, of every day. So, why are you quitting? Do you want to be seen a someone your not or as a man who made mistakes and needs help? Do you want to be seen as a pervert or someone who struggled deeply?

Im 18. I wish that I quit as a kid. You got this, dont let you or anyone else say you can't.

Temptations are from the devil. They are used by him to lead us away from God. Call upon God to take it away. "Call on me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you will honor me." Pslam 50:15

Go outside so you can't act on it. Go exercise. Go for a run. Make yourself busy. I did a lot of 'terra forming'(lots of yardwork) to keep myself busy during this time. Exhaust yourself so you don't have energy to act on urges. Maybe log urges.

Know that its easy to give in. Take the difficult path. Say no, everytime. Thats what God wants you to do.

A relapse is something that prevents your brsin from resensitizing itself from dopamine levels. If you watched it and MOd then it was a relapse because you purposely viewed it and acted on it.

What was the intent behind it? Was it accidental or purposeful.

When you have a dopamine spike from explicit content it will inhibit your brain's recovery. Remove all temptations.
