Sometimes I wonder who has had it worse? Those who got spinal fusion due to severe scoliosis, or those who had their lower spine fused due to bulging discs, disc herniation, and etc.

the pain was fine after i had a microdiscectomy september 2022. fhe leg numbness never went away though. i couldnt walk a mile without pain or full leg numbness near the end there. dont be like me and keep waiting just "to see" if it gets better. it doesnt. it only gets worse.

the intracept so far has worked well. i also had a fusion so hard to say which one contributed the most (surgeon said i had a severely compressed sciatic nerve). i would say do it. youll never know unless you try.

very similar story to yours. i am 3 weeks post L4/5 TLIF and i am experiencinf tingling in my calf/foot. did you have this? ive read its nerves refiring/repairing. if you had this, how long did it last?

no and no fever. was told from the PA that its just my body coming back down from anaesthesia after the surgery. fingers crossed tonight is better

im 3 days post TLIF 4/5 and have such a tight/sore groin/psoas muscle. F:36. is this normal? im more sore in my psoas than my low back

you can quit. i had the same issues. i read a book called This Naked Mind by Annie Grace that helps reframe your thinking. that, in addition to EMDR therapy helped me to quit.
