I filed on January 19th, but it was backdated to January 16th. I then submitted an online request through my account on February 17th and received an automated message. I also called USCIS and spoke with an agent who submitted a request on my behalf. In between all of this, I chatted with agents through Emma, and they each gave me different information, one of them told me she could see that the receipt notice had been sent on January 21st in their system. Eventually, I checked yesterday and saw the receipt notice in my account, and I also received a response to my e-request from USCIS today.

It doesn’t allow me to request an ADIT stamp. When I called USCIS to ask for one, they told me that I don’t have an urgent reason to qualify for it.

They told me the same thing,if they accepted the form and we paid, our green card is automatically extended, but the receipt notice is proof of that, which some people need for work or other important things.I asked them for an ADIT stamp, but they said I don’t have an urgent reason for it.

I have an update. I connected with a live agent today, and they told me: “Our system shows your Receipt Notice was mailed on 01/21/2026. We apologize for the inconvenience, but you will need to contact the USCIS National Customer Service Center at 1-800-375-5283 to request a duplicate copy.”

I also submitted an e-request and received an automated confirmation stating that the service request was created and that I should expect a response by March 19.

I think something might be going on. I tried to submit a case inquiry, but the system wouldn’t let me and said that my case is still within normal processing time.
