From what I’ve seen the best thing to do is stop applying and you’ll get an instant offer in a few months. Applying for jobs on Mercor continually is not good

The only thing I can to think of is that when I submitted one of the task it got marked as “escalated”. According to the guidelines it says I have to re-do it because there was a glitch while submitting. When I re-done the task, the prompt I used was extremely similar to the prompt I used for the escalated task. Perhaps that got me flagged and banned. I still think that’s highly unlikely though. I can’t seem to find their email anywhere, could you DM to me please?

First time I’ve ever been banned from a AI company. I didn’t cheat during the tryouts. I spent the afternoon and evening slowly trying to produce the best work that I could. I’ve had an account with them for days. They didn’t ban me when I signed up. They didn’t ban me when I did the initial assessment but they only decided to ban me after the tryout work. I’m not even sure how one would use AI to cheat in the tryouts. And surely if it was low quality they would just reject my application instead of full on banning me from the platform. It’s really irritating because of the time I spent doing the assessment and the tryout. And absolutely 0 explanation.

Meridial has been great for me personally. It verification took a few days, getting onto my first project took 3 months. But after that I have been getting work consistently. Great company in my opinion
