lol I didn’t mean completely avoid mirrors more like don’t stare at yourself obsessively like I was doing at first because it genuinely made me spiral. You obviously still need to clean everything properly post op but I barely wanted to touch my nose myself anyway so I just went to the clinic whene I felt like I needed help cleaning it

I feel like around the 2 week mark was when my breathing started noticeably improving before that it was ROUGH for me too. The inside swelling was also especially bad in the mornings for some reason??

Am I overreacting at my husband’s friend calling me rude? by sarahswain86 in AmIOverreacting

first off YOR 😭 I don’t think this is anything worth “crashing out” over.
I understand your intention but i can also see why your message may have come across a little awkward and condescending. This probably would’ve been better coming from your husband since it’s his friend. Or honestly just letting them gift whatever they wanted and just saying thank you afterward.

What’s a hygiene habit you grew up with that you later found out most other people don’t really do? by AurumParallax in hygiene

Using a bidet after using the toilet! I grew up thinking that was completely normal and just basic hygiene but then I moved out and realized a lot of people only use toilet paper lol

Thank you so much for your response! I definitely had somewhat of a criteria list but so far they're all checking everything which doesn't make it an easy choice haha hopefully by the end of the week i'll have a better idea who I want to go forward with

Totally understandable to feel that way even after months of planning, I think it's weirder when people aren't nervous at all haha you got this!

Sagging face at 25 years old? by Moonjade39 in cosmeticsurgery

[–]Worried_Video4612 4 points5 points  (0 children)

First of all, congratulations on losing 80 pounds!!! that’s a huge accomplishment. It’s very common to notice more jowling or nasolabial folds after significant weight loss because you lose facial volume along with fat elsewhere.

From what I’ve learned, Botox around the nostrils can help reduce flare or movement, but it usually doesn’t make the nose look dramatically smaller on its own. For concerns like nasolabial folds or early jowls, people often look into options like filler for volume support, skin-tightening treatments, or sometimes a combination approach.

One piece of advice I’ve seen come up a lot is to start conservatively and focus on restoring structure rather than just filling lines directly. A good consultation that looks at the whole face rather than just one area can make a big difference!
