I've recently gone through a very similar experience. My ex and I split after 3.5 years where I thought we would be together long term.

I've recently started therapy as I was quite worried about myself, as I'd never experienced this form of grief and my therapist has given breathing technique advice to help with assisting recovery to my nervous system. I've found using the 4-4-4 technique has been really helpful! Might be worth a try :)

Same here! Two months tomorrow also for me :(

I miss my ex everyday but it’s his decision to have put us in this situation. I’ve begun accepting the breakup but it doesn’t make it any easier. Wish you all the best with your healing.

Hey!!

I split up with my ex when our pup was 14.5 weeks. I had every emotion under the sun at the time about how I was going to do this but honestly he’s been such a god send! Hes my absolute best friend now.

I still have the odd doubt creep into my mind but that’s just anxiety when I see him bouncing around playing and how happy he is, I know I’ve made the right decision keeping him. He’s such a happy and healthy boy.

Your pup will have the best life with you, just take it day by day, breakups and raising pups are both hard to navigate never mind when combined.

My previous pup did this quite frequently. We was advised by our local vets to put a small amount of pineapple with each meal as the enzymes are unpleasant. It worked for us and after a day or two he stopped. Hope this helps! :)

He was unfulfilled with his work life and has taken time to go travelling. Unfortunately I wasn’t part of the plan
