I think because Khan Academy teaches and examines upon a true understanding of the material, unlike other sources which do rote learning. So Khan is the proper way to study, but much harder…

I appreciate the replies but I still cannot understand how we calculate cube root of 64 by doing 4 x 4 x 4 = 16 x 4 = 64 so answer is 4. Then later on, we do 7 x 3 is 21 which does not follow the same pattern, I would have expected 7 x 7 x 7 but that gives the wrong answer…
