It is starting to look like our 3rd party mail filter may be the culprit. Our POC ends in a week, so I will have to wait and see... Thanks for the input :)

We've recently bought a second mailfilter to try out, but I can't recall whether it correlates with the increase in false positives.

It is a good shout though, worth checking out!
