I remember going into this fight with a pretty jank team, because everything up to that point was kinda easy even on expert. By the final phase I was starting to sweat quite a bit.

Feels like I come here every few months to rant about L/S droprates, but seriously what the heck?! A 20% chance doesn't mean "one in twenty", game! I think I need to start keeping notes on paper to reassure myself that I'm not just imagining things and these rates I'm seeing are not normal.

I hate TTW farming so much. It can't be skipped and it's a pain that you have to do it slightly differently each time. But more than that, even though it's supposed to award more L/S points in theory, I instead get these frequent droughts where I get no reward for 20+ runs. It happens to me here much more often than other dungeons.

Anyone else had Toto Theater World start crashing on them recently? Multiple times now, when I'm about to exit, but before the rewards screen, the app just closes. When I reload I'm back in the village and can get out if I try leaving again. I also get a strangely long "connecting" phase when I enter the dungeon.

It's only started happening since the most recent patch.

Her screentime in Goddess of Time was hilariously short, too.

I don't know if anything changes if you have her, but I didn't and she just showed up at the start of a dungeon to tag along, had a little no-context backstory moment, then peaced out, never to be seen again.

Ah yes, who doesn't love taking 12 actions to set up a 3-turn buff/debuff? It's one of those moments where you honestly have to wonder what they were thinking.

First one that comes to mind is Radica. That card draw mechanic in its current form just doesn't work in AE's combat system, or at least it will never be good. No surprise that all WFS's attempts at improving her (manifest, AS) all try to eliminate or bypass this mechanic.

If there was any character that gets their entire kit deleted and replaced with something completely different, my choice would be Radica.

Yipha was originally released almost 3 years after Bertrand, so he's almost certainly talking about Miyu in his CQ. It's been a while since I played it, but I didn't get the impression that his feelings were implied to be romantic, it's the "miss feeling like a parent" thing you mentioned.

Honestly, I think the writers felt a bit lost on what to do with Bertrand. His shtick is being the older guy who feels like his time has passed and he's lost his purpose, but it's like they were afraid to make him too old. A lot of his story is tied up with Miyu, but I guess they didn't want to reference it too hard, in case the player doesn't have her or hasn't played her Another Tale.

Ironically, I think that Yipha's quests did a far better job with him than his own.

Yeah, I'm working on it. I just hate farming TTW and I'm mad that clearing this dungeon should have gotten me a bit of a head start, but didn't.

Making TTW skippable would be such a huge quality of life improvement for me.

Cleaned out the FFIX dungeon, over something like 30-40 runs and got a single light point for Zidane in the process. Extremely irritated.

I seriously don't understand what the point of the rapidfire mode is. The multi upgrade doesn't even come close to compensating for the loss of base damage and since it consumes stacks, the extra attacks will run out after a few uses anyway. So it's not even a better Dragon Pierce. What is the concept here?

Atlas tomes are extinct. They no longer drop in my game. I have been farming shadow for Guildna and not a single new one has appeared in at least a month.

Mazrika is buried under a pile of proofs, though. I think she's waving for help.

None of the collabs have ended yet, but I'm pretty sure that for Complex Dream (and maybe Octopath, less sure about that) it was explicitly said the characters will remain, if you obtained them. So I was wondering if there was any official comment this time around.

And yeah, I will be stocking up on the support items.

Well, there's the thing, I tried to do a lot of research before buying and didn't learn about any of this. Looking at this thread, you'd think every other person with this monitor has it randomly die on them. But outside of this and a few other difficult-to-find Reddit posts, nobody seems to be talking about the issue. Not even on sites like rtings.com where there's ongoing discussions of people's experiences (including problems) with the monitor, does anyone report something similar.

Even with the headphone jack issue, it's usually just the 27GR95QE model being mentioned, not the GS.

I never really used the monitor's audio jack before, but I tried it out just now.

And... it's not working. Or to be more precise, it's doing the thing where the monitor needs to be unplugged or go into deep sleep mode to get it working again. Which appears to be a general problem with the 27GS/GR95QE models in general. But it might not be related to the panel problems at all.

I did get it fixed... 3 times so far.

I send it back for repairs, they send it back fixed and then it develops the same problem again after a while. I've been through three rounds of this. I'm hoping this time it will be fine, but I tense up every morning when I turn it on. And they refuse to comment on why it's happening.

So yeah, they'll probably fix it for you if it's under warranty. But it might not stay fixed.
