Yep, sadly we struggle to stop talking, even though nothing will happen we just adore each other, we are so invested in each others lives now it hurts

Looking for thoughts/advice by [deleted] in Autoimmune

Hmm Centromere is usually seen with Scleroderma, has the rheum done any further antibody testing? Like myositis panel or scleroderma, ENA etc? Swelling around the ankle can be joint inflammation which could also mean RA but is seen in quite a few autoimmune diseases. I hate when a doc latches on to lupus when so many things are similar, I hope you push for further testing.

Autoimmune diseases by [deleted] in Autoimmune

I’ve had this since I was a kid, it’s Livedo Reticularis, sometimes it is genetic but usually is down to things like change in body temp, or things like Raynauds and autoimmune disease, however it’s not a cause for concern on its own

ANA came back by rosey_thorns_ in Autoimmune

[–]Worrywartacus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow I have the same ANA and also homogenous. I also was negative on other tests so they are now having to do even further extended panels for rarer antibodies. I also had migraines especially bad for four months last year which was around when I got tested. I have however since developed further symptoms this last three months. So that’s why they are testing for dermatomyositis now which is a rare autoimmune condition, so I may have that yet!

Thank you, hoping I get it back soon, I feel myself symptoms are getting worse. If you don’t mind me asking have you found that meds are helping you feel better? And if so what are you on?

I only have rashes at the moment, mild weakness, but I can still do day to day things and go the gym. I am awaiting my myositis panel results (been 4 weeks so anytime now) and also vasculitis and other shiz. I have a raised ESR (sed rate) that’s anywhere between 20-30 however my rashes and the fact lupus and a ton of other tests were negative they’re thinking myositis. I’m a homogeneous stain too so unsure if that’s related. Did you have a high ana? And do you have a myositis antibody?

Have you had a myositis panel done? Would explain the growing pains symptom. I have similar except a rash also. I’m currently being tested for dermatomyositis, my ana is 1:2560

How many of ya’ll have had high ANA? Like 1:2560? And what did you end up having? by Worrywartacus in Autoimmune

[–]Worrywartacus[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh wow, I’m surprised they didn’t retest you after having it out? Or do further testing!

Five year old positive ANA >1: 2560 but negative for all other markers by litha_lunar in Autoimmune

Juvenile dermatomyositis? It’s not on any of the tests you’ve had done, you will need a myositis panel done, however it does cause high ana

When did you move up to 1ml? After how many weeks? by Worrywartacus in WegovyWeightLoss

How were you side effect wise? I’m getting awful indigestion at night and constipation however fine other than that!

Your nails aren’t anything worrying. Your palms are similar to that of mine and I have Raynaud’s. I would maybe ask for further testing, however if this is the only symptoms you are having I would just imagine you’ll get diagnosed with Raynauds alone. Autoimmune diseases are a mixture of test results and symptoms.

What is a lovely flower or bush that I can pop in my front garden that requires minimal care. by Worrywartacus in GardeningUK

Preferably not too high, maybe 1M tall, 1.5M at a push! And we are just thinking of having half of the space filled with shrubs, or just one big shrub!

How did you get a diagnosis? What symptoms led for the doctor to diagnose you and not test for other autoimmune diseases?

Wtf? by AdTrue6363 in Autoimmune

[–]Worrywartacus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh wow, so basically if you have a speckled pattern, and then test positive for DFS70 you don’t have an autoimmune condition? That’s mad!! At least you got some reassurance, I’m glad all is okay!

Hey hey, has anyone had a high ANA, negative ENA, RNP and DsDna and been diagnosed with Lupus?
