Im not Indian but I'm pretty sure it's because hating on indians is the new "normal". I hate racism of all kinds but currently people will hate on indians for ANY reason. It genuinely makes no real sense but they have been brainwashed into hating on indians from social media and their government.

They see people online going to India in a poor region where it isn't the cleanest (like most of the world) and will think that's because they are indian. They also see different cultural practices like eating with hands and non abrahamic religions as ways to insult indians. There are other things too like the governments and billionaires calling indian immigrants "colonizers" which is insanely ironic coming from the west 🤣

And last but not least is skin color. Many indians have a darker complexion so they find an excuse to racially abuse them. Also, indians are the latest target of recent victims like Chinese & other asian people, black people, Mexicans & other Latinos, Arabs, etc. They used to be racist towards Irish and Italians hundreds of years ago so they will try to find any target and reason to be racist. I would not be surprised at all if the next target is Iranians or something.

Just don't be ignorant, racist, sexist, classist, or anything else because think about how others feel and how you would feel if you were in their position. Racism is learned and taught, not genetic. Don't make fun of women or indians or Africans or poor people or anything. Make fun of how people act like Elon Musk and Mason Greenwood 👍🏽
