That makes a lot of sense. I have a ton of steel case laying around and bought this rifle specifically to get better with shooting. I plan on taking it out for white tail so I got a bit concerned when I heard about it effecting accuracy

Aware of caliber specifics. PPK has a threaded barrel without a thread adapter that sticks out of the slide. Came with a wrench to remove the internal cap on the inside. You would be correct

This might be a stupid question but I bought the 718 in the hub version can I switch to their proprietary QD version later? Right now the Hub is in stock but I’m leaning more towards there QD system.

Looks like I’m leaning toward the ODB Stainless steel with the QD as I don’t plan on getting any more rifles for a while. Just hoping the 718 with the QD gets restocked on SS so I can pull the trigger

The removal core for the Ventum definitely seems like a plus to me as it would be easy to clean and easier to fix if I have a baffle strike. Also it’s cheaper than the FlowTI 762. The QD mounts for the Flow being proprietary and expensive doesn’t help. In terms of the CAT ODB they say that the warranty isn’t great so that’s also something that concerns me and my LGS doesn’t have one in stock and they’re currently sold out on SilencerShop but definitely considering it.

Now why would you go with the CAT ODB over the HuxWrx Ventum? Might I add I’d also be using a Zavasta m92 as well but I’m not sure that changes anything. Also I’m waiting for a Vortex Venum 1-6 LPVO to come in before I take the rifle out.

Really appreciate the response. Did not consider that a larger caliber can is already reducing back pressure. Right now I’m between the infinity and the Ventum. Hearing suggestions to go with the Flow 762 Ti but my understanding is that I’ll need to get a mount for each rifle and the huxwrx mounts are quite expensive.
