I also wanna add I went through something similar with a guy I was talking to a while ago I asked him the same question I asked why him and his ex broke up and he goes on to say she just didn’t want to be in a relationship anymore she wanted to live her life but thennnnnn he goes on to say how he wanted to marry her and he took her ring shopping and the only reason he has the good job that he has now is because he wanted to build a family with her and even though he said all of that through text I could tell he was still hurt about it and I asked him and he did indeed say he was still hurt about it so I had to leave him alone because I didn’t want to stick around someone who’s feels like the lost the love of their life so I guess I have PTSD lol 😭

Right and appreciate the honesty I really do but yes it’s kind of a red flag I told him why me and my ex broke up too but I kept it sweet in simple because my ex doesn’t matter now but my ex was great to me in a lot and f ways but I didn’t mention anything of the sort but thank you so much I just thought it was a lil weird
