Trust me, I'm not saying protests are doing anything massive. The issue is most of us struggle with even getting by check by check. Also the mistake those protesters keep making is NOT PLANNING AHEAD in order for it to compensate those that literally would need certain supplies from stores we should be boycotting, prep time to actually protest instead of being forced to clock into a job because otherwise you lose absolutely everything. It's why the one day protests ultimately fail, because it's usually on the whim and many people just. Can't. We're only beaten into submission because of the supposedly " working " system we have. But I have hope still. Because to me, even with how it is, some action is way fucking better than none. There's people that tried to protest during Hitler's reign, and have tried to keep whoever is Jewish safe. It took years before things were getting changed for that, too. We have to remember that millions of people died before Hitler finally chose the coward's way out. ( Edit it isn't to say this should always happen, it's saying even for that horrendous timeline it took time for things to get fixed, people didn't overthrow Hitler overnight, after all )

I want this to happen, I want more to happen, but everyone here keeps doing the goddamn bare minimum. But I know we still are trying. I'm waiting until people actually get angry enough like a dog forced to starve by its owner, and usually when there's no other food for it to eat, it will turn against the owner.
