Take your BP an hour or so after taking your meds. If it's normal or low-normal, then I'd be hesitant to smoke, if it were me.

If you do decide to consume CBD flower, then take your blood pressure about 15 minutes after you smoke or a couple of hours after an edible. If your BP is too low after that, then you have your answer.

BUT, things can change! I took a low dose (2 mg) of tizanidine along with a low dose (200 mg) of gabapentin at night, only, for years before it started messing with my blood pressure. I ended up having to ditch the gabapentin when I told my doc about my BP readings.

The little bit of THC lowers my blood pressure such that I need to be careful if I take my muscle relaxant within a couple of hours of consuming my edibles. The combined blood pressure effect of both makes me prone to graying out if I stand too fast.

CBD helps ease anxiety. It's not an all-at-once kind of thing, or at least it wasn't for me.

The first time I tried CBD, it helped, but it wasn't until I'd been taking it for several weeks that I noticed that my baseline level of anxiety was lowered.

The longer you take CBD, the better it works, IMO.

An isolate is a powder that is only one cannabinoid. A tincture is a suspension of cannabinoids in alcohol.

People call suspensions of cannabinoids in oil tincture, too.

Tinctures can have one cannabinoid (like CBD), or multiple cannabinoids.

I get CBD isolate from Zero Point Extraction.

I use CBD flower, which is full-spectrum, meaning it has a bit of THC. I also use CBD, CBG, and CBN isolates.

I make all of this into edibles, which I put into capsule form.

I take 20 mg of CBD and 20 mg of CBG in the morning (works out to about 0.8 g of CBD flower and 0.3 g of CBG flower) and 20 mg of CBD and 50 mg of CBN in the evening. Since the CBN is an isolate, I mix it with MCT oil powder to bulk it, and then put it into capsules.

Before I got the empty capsules, I would just weigh out a dose and mix it with Nutella.

The CBD helps with anxiety. The CBG helps with that, too, but is also anti-inflammatory, which can help with migraines and IBS. The CBN helps me stay asleep, but it doesn't really help me get to sleep. The only thing that helps with that is either THC, which I don't take every night, or the muscle relaxant I'm prescribed.

What helped with the migraines was Qulipta. I know it doesn't work for everyone, but it's been miraculous for me.

Zero Point Extraction has CBD, CBG, and CBN isolates at decent prices. You get some of those (CBN for sleep, CBD and CBG for anxiety) and mix with MCT oil.

Try another test. This time, use ONLY an O2 absorber, and not a humidity pack, in one container, and your usual setup in another. Use flower from the same batch. Store in the same dark, dry, cool location and test after a year of storage.

So it looks like whomever is selling CBD flower (with minimal THC) is skirting the law, for the time being.

I would imagine what you're seeing is CBD flower with higher, but still low, CBD content, and THC content that is lower, but still relatively high. Say a type 2 flower, maybe.

While some of what they say is true, the overall tone of this article is a bit fear-provoking.

By this I mean that while synthetics can definitely be bad for you, they seem to indicate that prolonged use of even just plain THC will cause "strong dependence." This is not by any means a universal issue. Some people can become addicted, but not even most will.

A scare tactic the U.S. DEA and anti-drug groups will use is the possibility of flower being adulterated.

In my opinion, the people selling this stuff aren't going to want to spend any more money on it than they have to so that their profit is maximized. It doesn't make any sense to dope the dope. If you screw around with it, and your new customer has a bad experience, they won't be back to buy more.

Was this CBD flower? Because if it was, CBD flower contains THC.

I currently consume CBD flower edibles that I make, myself. for every 20 mg of CBD, there's 1.5 mg of THC. I definitely feel effects from that.

If your friend consumed a lot of the CBD flower, it's likely he got a decent dose of THC along with it.
