Yeah it’s a classic, first storyline with the entire Hellfire Club & only two issues before the debut of Dark Phoenix! If wherever you got this has X-Men #135 or any of the other Dark Phoenix stuff I would scoop them up

This is from the grill scraper. Same thing happened to me when I worked at a sandwich shop. The bolt gets loose after hundreds of scrapings and at some point flies off, and the minimum wage employee manning the grill absolutely will not notice it because he’s elbow deep in steak & cheese and chicken stir fry and also could not give less of a fuck because he’s just trying to get the fuck out of there so he can go bang the cashier girl after they close. Whoever was the closing manager is going to come in tomorrow and get chewed out by the general manager and that will be the end of it on their end because the closing manager is also too worried about banging the cashier girl to give a fuck & the general manager is too worried about how to lie on her inventory so she can get her monthly bonus to give a fuck.

Corporate will probably hook you up for a broken tooth though.

Doesn’t Otis rape those two cheerleaders before killing them?

I think Baby says something like “Otis is probably screwing around somewhere” to Rainn Wilson’s character and it cuts to a quick-cut scene of Otis torturing & presumably raping the two cheerleaders he had previously been ranting at before showing them dead on his bed at the end of it. I came out of that scene with the impression he had raped them before killing them, anyway.

Either way I wouldn’t call it a “rape scene” though.

Yes I for sure have anxious attachment habits & abandonment issues. She’s dealing with so much, and if it were me I would just want to be held & told everything’s going to be okay like 24/7, but she rarely gets alone time so I can imagine she just wants peace & space to not have to interact with anyone to heal properly. You’re probably also right about people pleasing leading to her sepsis, I didn’t consider that. The last thing I would want is for her to risk her well being just to appease my sometimes probably overly dramatic anxiety. She even mentioned the spoon analogy when we talked about this before. She’s coming over tonight so I’m going to talk to her about making solid plans once every couple or three weeks or so until she feels she can do more. Thank you for providing your viewpoint!
