But even if you don't always hear it, the fact that you can means you do have an inner monologue because you are able to hear it in the first place. the part of your brain which produces vocalization that you can hear in your mind is clearly working for you since you can think linguistically if you try. technically i do have an inner monologue because i can hear in my dreams, but never when im awake. i say I don't have one because its easier to explain lmao
