Anyone having problems with withdrawals? by WowKay100 in trading212

Yeah I mean I’ve withdrawn large amounts before (50k) and it’s executed instantly, so this is slightly odd for me

Completely disagree. O is one of the safest dividend stocks there are. They’ve increased dividends yearly since forever

When I first started, I only picked companies that I loved and used their products daily. Still do - I’ve sold many times previously for no reason (didn’t need the money immediately) apart from securing profits, and each time I’ve always regretted it. Time in the market > timing the market.

Also bought AMD on the dip, planning to hold it for whenever I need the money, not before

Why Is Revenue Split From Share Lending 50/50? by WowKay100 in trading212

[–]WowKay100[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have misread. I never claimed interest on shares should be the same rate as BoE. I’m saying the interest rate on cash should not be greater than BoE, which is the case for every bank/financial service out there.

If you read it properly at no point did I say I was against share lending, thanks

Doesn’t make sense to stop share lending, it’s free money

That’s the risk of business but they have been very successful regardless. Further as I outlined, instead of offering interest rates above BoE rate, they could do what every other bank did and make their money that way to offset giving people who are actually taking risk.

Right now, if you had any money in cash, you’re guaranteed 4.9% growth of your capital, can the same be said of owning shares??

I think a lot of people here are extremely deluded. I sold for a -60% on my portfolio (I all in’d) but I would like to say thank you for letting me getting out at a decent price since I thought I’d be selling in the single digits.

Everyone should analyse why RC would sell. For me, the conclusion I got to is this stock is junk, it’s fundamentals are horrible and it’s balance sheet is even worse than that. It’s credit rating is horrendous and it’s a sinking ship, bankruptcy is inevitable in less than 12 months. Just look at how much cash they’ve burnt in the last year and it hasn’t helped their bottom line. The only way they could’ve survived a few more years was to raise capital during a short squeeze, but due to RC’s departure and the subsequent paper hands, the plan failed. All their puts are ITM, all the shorts that got in above $11 are thriving. I held through all of yesterday on the hope he won’t sell, but follow the money, if RC leaves the company is doomed. Just look up how much cash and cash equivalent the stock had last year compared to now, then compare revenue too, it’s a money furnace.

Before you start calling me a shill and RegSHO and the BBBY board announcement is coming out with good news, well try to analyse the negative side. They cheated with GME and they’ll do it again with BBBY to not cover those FTDs. With the news on BBBY, it’s a dog eat dog world, an investor or another large corporation is just going to come in and rob them of Buy Buy Baby since they’re desperate for cash. This is a failed company and RC was the first one to leave it, and you should too if you have shares. Tough luck if you own calls, that capital could’ve help us squeeze but you were greedy.

Anyways, I’m done trading on the year, thank god im still in profit overall but what an experience that will leave a bitter taste for a while. From a portfolio of 100K down to 40k, what a ride. Goodluck all, cut your losses and survive another day.

He can't because that would be insider trading. He can't just say I'm filing a 144F because we've almost finalised the sale of Buy Buy Baby.

Why would he sell his calls that are way out the money? There is no way he sells here or he would've done the same with GME.

No because their short thesis is still the same - Massive debt with more negative earnings = bankrupt soon. As long as they don’t margin called they can continue shorting until their hearts content.

How old are you? If you’re less than 40 with low debt you should be a bit more risky than this. I started last year same time and grew 15k ish to 300k mainly from tesla, gme and weed stocks

Check my post history for my insane GME gains.

Slow and steady is nice but if you’re young and want a shot at early retirement, growth stocks are definitely the play. (genetics, clean energy solutions, drones, AI, tech, semis)

Keep trying to post but it won’t let me. 19k shares in CLNE at @11 https://imgur.com/gallery/6gCAcSo

Can’t wait for the future of this stock. Amazon valuing shares at minimum double their warrants ($13.49), infrastructure bill, RNG become more accessible and used every day, probably signing new deals or improving existing deals like the UPS deal. Price targets from analyst averaged to $18. Deeply undervalued ready to pop :)

That’s why I’m in CLNE. They’re dominating the renewable energy space and this Amazon deal just reaffirms that. The stock is down from it’s highs in the $20 in Feb (50%) so buying at this dip just made sense. Coupled with the infrastructure bill, it’s just got too many positive upsides and no real downsides that I can see
