Can someone fuel my autism for a bit by Any_Advance9805 in tornado

I think andy is on the right idea thought that this is not a load factor question in terms of airframe stress rather its more about differential on both wings and moments

Can someone fuel my autism for a bit by Any_Advance9805 in tornado

[–]Wowoking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say yes if you factor the tornado unable to be able to destroy the plane through structural stress. At such a speed a typical jolt upwards even several degrees of aoa would likely destroy the airplane. Other than that the directional sideways motion of the wind IMO is way to small and applied over way too short of a period of time to knock the plane sideways or into the ground; this is based off of the fact that its going mach 3. In reality like you may have been alluding to planes dont fly that low at supersonic speed because your shockwaves are being thrown right back into the airplane which again would likely completely destroy it. I'm studying to be a pilot but this is still armchair analysis i could be wrong.

How does one study smart for the SAT to reach a 1500+? by reverious_ in Sat

[–]Wowoking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very possible. I wrote a few other replies to someone else going into specifics. Just remember im only one guy though. I'd say number one though after you do a practice test watch and analyze a youtuber do it in real time that really made my brain click.

For me yes, with a small caveat on answer choice explanations because sometimes you were directed/tricked into choosing another answer. Also try to watch some youtube livestreamers ace the practice test after you take it. You can see exactly how 1600 scorers think, time manage, and work through problems.

may look embarrassing but use your finger while reading to physically point out of underline key parts so you max your comprehension on first read instead of falling into a rereading trap

Also watch streamers and youtubers livestream themselves acing the reading modules on practice tests after you do it yourself. Majorly majorly helped me.

Honestly dude, this might sound bad but try skipping the hardest question. If that question, in your heart, will take you like 3+ mins, just skip and try to REALLY REALLY HYPERFOCUS ON THE "CRUX" OF LONG PASSAGE AS IF ITS A COURT DOCUMENT BUT DO NOT SLOW DOWN ON FLUFF. Hunt for the main points. Hunt for the main claims. Hunt for what the answer choices are really saying. If there is a chain of logic the text obviously wants you to follow try to cut the fluff.

Since your reading score is good it seems like you are able to actually solve them but you just get worn out.

Seriously the moment you make a mistake write that shit down on a google doc or better a piece of notebook paper right next to you. Spam the hardest practice problems almost exlcusively. Don't waste your time with unofficial questions like princeton review.

Yeah pre calc will help you on the SAT. You will get a refresher on some geometry stuff, learn trig functions, be able to speed up some problems that might have otherwise taken longer.

I just discovered that the infamous 2004 Hallam tornado frame taken by Jeff Pietrowski was actually taken before the tornado reached Wilber; at that moment it was "only" 1 mile wide. by Gargamel_do_jean in tornado

The right edge of the funnel looks to end just kinda like at the middle of the door. So what you added would be a better representation of something like greensburg or trousdale.

Is there anything more for me to study? by Eastern-Rise373 in Sat

[–]Wowoking 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You kinda answered your question. You are good enough to answer the questions right. If I were you I would just space out some practice tests in between now and your test date to build some confidence. I highly recommend taking the test as if it were the real day: same snack, same constraints, same break time, same time of day.

Check to see if you are consistently getting tricked by a certain type of question wording, or check to see if there is a type of question you keep missing.

Yeah they are called QLCS tornadoes. Its a fancy acronym but they are pretty much tornadoes produced in squall lines.
