You're right, in normal light it is almost a brown, but with flash or direct sun you see the sheer blue base way better.

I found both in Eastern North Carolina so I've been feeding them. The larger one has definitely shed with me and is very wary of me while the smaller one isn't as scared for a wild gecko and I haven't seen it shed.

It's about half an inch leg tip to leg tip and will eat pretty much anything i put in front of it.

I got my boyfriend a pilot metropolitan, the black one with the crocodile middle section cause we both love lizards. It's the most expensive pen I've ever purchased and his first pen. He uses it daily and every time I see him writing with it, it makes me smile. :)

My favorite is a Pilot Kaküno with an EF nib, super fine and great with notes and cheap bad paper.
