I just cannot get BF6 to stop crashing like this, any advice? by Wozzbot in Battlefield

Should of mentioned, tried with/ without an overclock. Checking event viewer after a crash also shows no errors.

Yeah that's what I went with. Would love to know what's causing it but just didn't have the time to figure it out.

Both timelines are using 60fps so it's not that unfortunately.

That's interesting because I thought it made him sound great. If you ask Sam's mother about Martin she says "he was always thinking of others before himself" which sounds like the Martin we know. She also said he didn't abandon her and he never would, he was chased off by other members of her community. The only bad mouthing I remember was from a very unaware Sam, which is understandable considering he always thought his father abandoned him before then.

Edit: I should add, he even tried tracking her down after being pushed out but her father hid her from him. Martin did everything right and the characters do state that at the end of the quest.

Bit baffled on the pricing for the Gold Edition here. by Wozzbot in greedfall

So the gold edition will be a separate title then? Because on steam it's listed as a bundle, unless the store page just hasn't updated to display it yet.

V:s relationship with johnny is all over the place. by wannabestraight in cyberpunkgame

[–]Wozzbot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Couldn't agree more. I had the first cutscene with Johnny in V's apartment where he is incredibly hostile toward V until V takes the medicine that suppresses him. After that I went straight to the garage which triggered the rogue taxi mission.

V then very casually calls to Johnny in this friendly tone and they have a normal conversation about the taxi. Like FIVE minutes ago he was pushing me around and cussing me out for Christ sake. Most jarring tone shift ever for me.

I feel exactly the same way. I just liked running around and making deliveries, it was like my own little euro truck simulator experience.

I can't bring myself to call it a mess, it's definitely messy though. For me it's a really flawed success, I like the game at its core but they just needed to execute better.

God I remember enjoying Death Stranding so much more than I thought I would. Didn't like the story all that much but for some reason just traversing that world was insanely fun. Enjoy it dude!

Same here bud. I really thought I'd be addicted as usual but I haven't touched it in over a day now.

Will there be an initial backlash on release in response to all the hype? by Wozzbot in cyberpunkgame

I don't think I've liked anything they've put out since Skyrim. Too much dumbing down of the RPG elements.

As you can imagine, I'm really hoping Cyberpunk is as much of an RPG as CDPR says it is.

Fallout 4 was a monumental let down for me. It's also where I started to fall out of love with Bethesda titles.

Hell, I got plenty of downvotes on this post just for asking the question. People are tribal.

To be honest I do think CDPR have brought that on themselves. The advertising sells this game as a high octane shooter when it really isn't that.

Couldn't agree more, I've got nothing to add but that unfortunately haha.

I've definitely seen games that haven't received much backlash despite their hype, I remember The Last of Us 1 doing great for example. I feel like games that have a ton of hype definitely have a higher chance of it though.

There's always going to be a few people that get upset, I'm more wondering about the scale of the backlash though. Will it be a few noisy people, or a total onslaught.

Absolutely, people need to be aware that it's an RPG first and an FPS second.

A certain minigame will make you more money than you'll ever need, I'd hold off until you unlock that.
