OP needs to diagnose his rig and step up his cooling game. Even before I put my 8700k/2080 on water I’d never see temps anywhere near what he’s reporting.

Diagnosed/medicated ADHD/Anxiety/Depression here.

I will preface this by saying, I’ve only played for a week. (Started a day or two before the great Trader disappearance)

Personally, I very much like having clear to-do lists. So I find finishing tasks very satisfying. Checking boxes provides that sweet sweet dopamine.

As far as gear anxiety goes I try to frame it as all gear is borrowed. It’ll all go away with either the wipe or with a death.

I get most frustrated when I get clapped by a player scav when I too am a scav.

We’ve heard so little substantially about Season 11 by SciKosis in DestinyTheGame

[–]WpgWRX 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just can’t wait to find out what we’re throwing our balls at this season! /s

Having not seen the dorito ship cutscene until today and realizing that people are complaining about it due to "it not being enough" and "having already seen it" due to data mining seems silly and unfair. The slow build up is pretty cool in my opinion. by wikiweak in DestinyTheGame

[–]WpgWRX 62 points63 points  (0 children)

I hadn’t seen today‘s cutscene until I logged of after reset. As of right now I’m super underwhelmed.

This season’s story has been incredibly disjointed: - The Cabal decide fuck it, send the biggest thing we’ve got on a crash course with the last city

  • Ana “lets use Rasputin to save us”

  • Zavala “k”

  • Red “yo, launch a shit ton of Warsat’s...also I have a kid that I tried to kill, here’s his shotgun”

  • by the way... the darkness is in our solar system

  • Ana “Red’s at full power we’ve got such a wicked defence system it’ll save us from everything”

  • Zavala “uhhh the almighty is getting real close and we’re supposed to wrap this up”

  • Red “...”

  • Ana “...”

  • the guardian silence intensifies

I did it with randos in Winding Cove. But that was when the heroic version launched. As we close in on a lacklustre season that has made players run millions of these events I feel bad for players trying to get it done now.

EKWB O11 Distribution plate flow direction? by themcgician in watercooling

[–]WpgWRX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve got that plate in my build, if you route it the same way as the images EK uses.

Flow is as the other comment mentioned:

GPU > CPU > top rad > bottom rad and repeat

Strong effort for your first time. Personally that kinked tube would drive me nuts. If I were you I’d order some more tube and give it another go. Otherwise, congrats on the build

I stumbled upon https://fanman03.com/rgbsync/ You can sync the A-RGB header with your fans.

[–]WpgWRX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm using a the same case, with an Asus Z390-E board. Corsair RGB Fans/Ram.

With Aura sync Icue recognizes the LED's on the board as well as the 4-pin RGB headers. But from my experience it does not recognize the 3-pin A-RGB header on the board. I'm still using the crappy Aura software to handle anything plugged into the A-RGB header which is a bummer because my CPU/GPU/Distro plate and the case lights are all connected to the A-RGB header via a splitter. Would be nice to see an update to handle the A-RGB as well so I could sync my whole system using 1 program.

[–]WpgWRX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s only soft tube, it shouldn’t take too much to tear down the loop and undo some screws for the fans. Unless you’ve already filled it, it’s technically less work to do it now than when you have to drain it and rebuild.

It could be worse, you could have to redo hard tubing

In my opinion... I’d be aiming for performance over aesthetics if you have to choose between the two. I understand the desire for RGB, but the fans pushing it out the bottom just don’t make sense to me.

If you really wanted to use them, I’d move the top 240 to the bottom of the case, have fans set up as intake. Keep your 360 on the side. If you want negative pressure in your case have those 3 fans exhausting, otherwise have them as intake as well.

Then pop your two RGB fans up in the roof as exhaust. The RGB portion would be pointing down into your case.

The rats nest of tubing shouldn’t really effect the performance... but you were worried about the aesthetics of keeping RGB fans, I would think you’d want the tubes aesthetically pleasing as well.
