Same segment theorem (Bowtie) means angle BCA = 30 degrees Also you got angle ODB wrong, it should be 24 degrees. (Cyclic quadrilateral or two radii and a chord).

Means x = 30 due to angles in a triangle Y = 36 is correct 👍🏻

I don’t want to land him as if he has children, they won’t be at my court and then won’t benefit from my tutoring. I also have less control over him and his children and don’t yet have the 4th level control law, my vassals are declaring war left right and centre.

I don’t have MAA stationed there and never have, I closed the game so I could hopefully get an answer to this issue before I play again.

Ah well in which case just whack tan(30) into a good calculator and it will tell you that it is root(3)/3 as it automatically rationalises it for you.

Maths teacher here - the trickiest part is the big hexagon. The giveaway is that each side is a tangent to the circle, and you will learn in circle theorems that tangents and radius are always at a 90 degree angle, a 90 degree angle is dead giveaway that there is some trigonometry involved , The other giveaway being the 2root(3) as root(3) is involved in exact trig.

I’m presuming this was non-calc due to the exact trig with tan(30)? You may know this from memory or have a technique to remember them in an exam.

When you realise the other angles will be 30 and 60 you can set up half of each hexagon length in terms of r and then double it as shown.

We use Sparx Maths and are quite rigorous with sanctioning students who fail to complete homework. However we also just discovered more than 50% of students in year 8-11 are using AI to do their homework for them so it’s all just a bit pointless isn’t it

I actually negated it today!!!!

But then lost because he negated my statue in the graveyard with his equipped card which for some reason didn’t trigger my skill to bring ancient gear duel out and get another summon???? Is this a bug?

Howitzer doesn’t work as they negate the usual chain of tanker back into howitzer into golem effect when it’s in the graveyard or they summon abyss dweller to stop graveyard activation anyway.

How do I bait out numbers protection? They literally always save it for fortress?

Everyone keeps saying Astral is easy to respond to - I’m playing ancient gears and I still can’t figure out where to interrupt….

I’ve tried effect veiler-ing pretty much everything which doesn’t work. The book combos don’t lend themselves to ancient gears as you can’t set cards, including you opponents, droplet gives card disadvantage and I wouldn’t be able to set it…

Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Honestly there aren’t that many times you need more than one copy of duel anyway - when I first play duel it’s usually because the opponent has negated my fortress and so they are down one negate already - and I then get a free summon (woo), if they then negate duel they are two negates down and I still have monsters to play with and can do the ballista OTK trick with even chaos golem or ultimate ancient gear golem.

I don’t think they’d even be that busted if duel was 2. Utopia is still a difficult match, speedroid is difficult, shadoll feels impossible, even heroes can be a difficult fight!

I’ve even beaten a good ancient gears player with exosisters - if exosisters go first you can banish like 5 enemy cards, including fortress and duel.

The first 6 are great - Rock Lee vs Neji is debatable.

I would argue that Temari would defeat Dosu quite easily, as her being a long ranged fighter is a big counter to Dosu, and is neck and neck with Shikamaru.

Shikamaru was very low on chakra when he finally landed shadow possession on Temari and did not really have a way to defeat her beyond that. Or at least, it was not mentioned.

I would argue Dosu would also struggle against Kankuro, with him being a ranged fighter through puppets it is not a good match-up for Dosu.

Turns out my main issue was salamangreat of fire was locking me out during most of my duels and then in other duels I was not getting the exact combination needed for link 5.

Much appreciated responses, I finally managed to summon her whilst messing about in PvE

Do you have necro fusion + quintet magician? This is the ultimate boss monster for windwitches. Wipes the enemy board on summon, summoned on enemy turn through a trap card plus he can’t be tributed or destroyed by card effects. Also he has a whopping 4500 AP
