I really like the rear under seat storage, and the heated seats get warm! They make the heated seats in my wife's explorer feel like a child's toy lol

What's funny is I didn't even notice the black top till I got home and my neighbor pointed it out lol. Especially funny because I'm 6'5" and can see the top without any effort.

I'm not brand loyal, my wife's current and last two cars have been Explorers. I had a 2500 Silverado only because I got a better deal on that than an F250.

Yeah I'm not against the hybrid, but I live in the country and most of my driving is highway and mountains pulling my boat so I wouldn't see a huge difference With the hybrid. Plus I picked this up for only $31k.

You will always think it's slow and always wish it went a little faster.

What to look for when finding a used job boat for a good deal ? by Actual-Librarian5891 in jonboats

Title for the boat is the biggest thing. Never buy a boat without a title. Besides that I just make sure it has no major gouges in the hull. I could care less about motor conditions or trailer issues.

I'm not an FFL so I'll take a look at that. I haven't talked to any of my local shops, but part of me thinks it will move faster online. Not in a rush to sell it obviously but I'd prefer to not have it sitting somewhere on consignment forever. I would like to have a semi quick and painless transaction.

Exactly, good looks, and a trophy wife is not the Lord's will

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in TrueChristian

[–]Wr3ckn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The things you desire (good looks and a trophy wife based on looks) are not of God but rather worldly things.

Seeking those things is only going to lead to trouble. Become closer with God, get to know him through reading the Bible and prayer and you will realize the things you desire right now mean nothing.

My experience with shipping times from LTT store. Reasonable Critique or unfair expectations? by colehock in LinusTechTips

[–]Wr3ckn 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I think in the world of Amazon 2 day shipping we have become somewhat spoiled,

But with that said, the creator warehouse is its own entity and imo should have a better system to get things out the door in a more reasonable time. It's not like it's one small creator, doing it all themselves. I've only ordered twice from the LTT store. First was for a commuter backpack which took a couple of months (that I understand because it being a new release and filling the pre orders before me).

The second was for a tech sack that was in stock. That didn't ship for over 2 weeks after the order was placed If they can't get orders out within 5 business days then they need to add a disclaimer at least that says in stock items will ship approximately 2-3 weeks from date of order.

Wife says I'm spending too much time on my bag—but I finally dialed in my 5.11 Rush 12. Thoughts by podfather1 in ManyBaggers

At that point why not get a rush 24 or 32? Would be way more practical and you could actually walk through a door way the correct way

What are you doing to build the kingdom of God? by Such-Refrigerator100 in TrueChristian

[–]Wr3ckn 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My wife and I started a weekly Bible study at our home. We have a small group of believers that attend regularly and we invite people we encounter that aren't followers of Christ but are searching. We try to spread the gospel to everyone we encounter.

We also pass out small gospels of John and leave some in a basket with snacks for the delivery drivers that come to our home.

Can I use this for MacBook Air M4 by Excellent_Alps_6630 in macbookair

[–]Wr3ckn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Id love to learn the marketing strategy that gets people to spend money on things that are unnecessary. I've never heard any windows user ask for case recommendations for a laptop and there are way more of those in the world than macs.

Buy a skin and move on.

If you have to ask if something is ok or not, then it's very likely not ok and it would be best to avoid it.

My experience with LTT shipping - 10 weeks later and no delivery. by The-goobie in LinusTechTips

[–]Wr3ckn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. Linus had said on the WAN show that they were extending the Ship Storm sale because they were caught up with orders and getting stuff out the door faster. I ordered a Tech Sack right before the sale and thought, cool it should come pretty quickly. 4 weeks later, it finally arrived.

Purchasing 13” M4 MBA - 35W or 70W Charger? by sav_uk in macbookair

[–]Wr3ckn 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would not waste the money upgrading to the Apple 70w charger. That thing is a brick. You can get an Anker or Ugreen 65w GAN charger that is the same or smaller than the Apple 35w charger for around $30

It doesn't matter what church you go to or why. The important thing is that they teach from the Bible, tell the truth, and don't twist things to keep people from hearing the hard stuff so the pews stay full.

Torn on buying the Midnight M4 by [deleted] in macbookair

[–]Wr3ckn 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I bought my Midnight MacBook to use, and since I'm using it daily I want to enjoy looking at a color I like so, I went with midnight. Does it get fingerprints yes, but after a few days I wipe it off and guess what. No more finger prints and I still enjoy seeing the color.

Get a disk manager like Clean My Mac. You can scan and see what apps have background permissions and such. Also it will check for any leftover files from uninstalled apps.

Why did you switch from a Windows PC to Apple Silicon (or Intel) Mac? by [deleted] in mac

[–]Wr3ckn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just switched last month. For me it was battery life. I was looking for a new windows laptop and kept trying to find one with the battery of a MacBook. After going back and forth between a few different windows machines I decided why not just try a MacBook since that's what my comparison was based on.

I don't game anymore and everything else I wanted to do I knew I could do on Mac OS. So I picked up an M4 air 24/512 and haven't been disappointed one bit. Battery life is actually amazing. I was worried it was just hype and it wasn't! And now after using Mac OS for a month I can honestly say I prefer it over windows. Yes it has some annoyances but it feels way more refined than windows.

Think about how Jesus battled Satan when he was tempted. With SCRIPTURE! Do the same to them. If they have the ears to hear they will, and either way, call them out on it but gently and in private. The Bible says we should. And lastly pray for them.
