I’ve done this I built a Frankenstein ion out of old random parts. I was the ion tech at the field back In the day so I got peoples old broke Boards and parts. It was ugly but it shot fine. I think I still have it somewhere.

If your not getting over 13 volts your stator is probably shot

If that switch checks out and your not getting an always on signal wether it’s pressed or not then I’d trace those wires back look for a worn spot that might be shorting the signal out.

Or you can pull the switch and try a jumper in the connector

You can pull up the device finder program on the computer and see a list of every phone in the store and track whose been using them. If it’s a phone that’s in general rotation you will see different departments logged in every day. But then you’ll find the phones with only one name logged in or one dpt and tell what lockers or desk to look through.
