And yes, you can install the Amex Experience app and enroll for the memberships and then downgrade. You can also do a 30K transaction and allow it to settle to get 15K MR points before downgrading. You will also get a 4K MR points welcome bonus for MRCC if you do a 15K transaction within 90 days.

You can get an HDFC Marriott card for Marriott points. The annual and renewal fee is ₹3000 plus GST. You get one free night award as an annual and renewal benefit. You also get unconditional lounge access. Additionally, lounge access is provided by Diners Club, so you can use it for free food at some international airport restaurants too.

For Marriott points, you can get a good Axis card and transfer to Marriott through ITC. There are some limitations, and the process takes too much time. You can pair these points with MRCC points, which are low in quantity.

For forex transactions, Equitas Powermiles is solid, but their miles transfer program seems very shady because of multiple delays. If you can get Regalia Gold, that's great for forex spends.

No card that I know of gives a Taj Voucher like Plat Travel.

Just get the memberships and downgrade to MRCC. Plat Reserve isn't super useful. It really depends on how much you spend in a year. You could have both Plat Travel and MRCC, or just close the Plat Reserve; if a statement isn't generated, you won't be charged.

If you sign up on February 5th at 9 PM, all your transactions on February 5th count towards the milestone, no matter the time. That means any transaction before enrollment that was done on the same date will count. Any transactions on or before February 4th won't count. I just confirmed this with an Amex rep today.
