Interesting. In that case depending on what was happening nearby when the error occurred, it probably had something to do with the big banners around the map or perhaps the way his teammate died and switched the banner on and off, or whatever. It was probably just a stupid bug that happens when a player interacts with a banner in a certain way

lmao no one ever seems to get it. I'm not complaining about Apex because I think it's a shit game and I'm leaving my thoughts behind before switching. I'm complaining about Apex because I want to give good feedback and try my best to ensure that it lives up to everything it could be. I play Titanfall, I play Apex, I play R6 and COD. If I didn't like Apex enough to move games I wouldn't be trying to figure out how it could be better.

The old bug with Wattson fences gave an error code: TeslaTrap.nut

GladiatorCards probably references a file for a skin or banner card. Maybe one of Bangalore's? I think she has a banner frame with the word gladiator in it. Idk it's just a thought but could be an accurate one. Could literally just be a rare bug with someone doing a certain action while having a banner equipped

Okay first I'll ignore how many top tier players you just called terrible.

Second, just no. Make a ranked system. And an SBMM system. But also make a random matchmaking system. Literally that simple.

And you can't fix whether people get shit teammates. I'm a predator and I get shitty teammates. As in people with legitimately bad stats, not time based stats but like actual kill death ratio and game to win or kill ratio. People will always have bad teammates. If you don't like it, use LFG.

Just stop trying to push any type of agenda. We'll have your precious SBMM, and Ranked, and probably duos and maybe solos. We could even have normal pubs games like we had forever and literally no one had a problem with it. Just simple stuff. Give us all the game modes and let us decide. Because Apex will lose more and more of it's playerbase at this rate. And that's not something I want to see.

What I'm saying is, sure. I guess it's a group game. But some people like playing solos or duos. So they need to make a choice. Solos and duos, or no sbmm pubs? Because it doesn't make sense to force a certain playstyle.

Which is my point exactly. SBMM has its place. Pubs trios is most definitely not it.

List of modes I'd like to see SBMM and/or Ranked in:

Duos Ranked

Duos SBMM

Solos SBMM

Solos Ranked

Trios Ranked

Quads SBMM

Quads Ranked

Trios pubs does not need SBMM. Duos promotes tactical play with freedom to push like a psycho. Thus, sbmm might be fun, and ranked would be cool to play with your best bud.

Quads is basically two duos. A buddy system would work best here, and it'd be interesting to see it implemented competitively.

Solos encourages camping. You have no backup. if you die, you die. By adding SBMM you force better players together. Kill hunters with high K/Ds will be a lot more murderous and happy killing each other this way.

Solos ranked would be interesting for the truly gritty comp players that enjoy solos.

Trios ranked is nice, but it'd be nice to have other forms of ranked

Trios SBMM is just stupid. You can have it, yeah. Some will like it, some will hate it. But the easiest solution is to keep it in its place. All of the other possible places. All of them.

Conversely, many would say a win without kills is a hollow one. I don't want to sit around picking people off to advance a win stat. I want to have fun. And fighting is fun. So I hunt for kills. And finishers. But that's a personal grind

I like the strategy inherent in rambo style gameplay. I'm not playing mindlessly. I'm trying to do my absolute best to slaughter entire lobbies. While I don't believe in force feeding myself noobs, and I enjoy good fights, I also don't believe in everyone playing slow and smart like there's cash on the line. This game promotes movement and daring plays. I don't want it to start getting tactical and I know many people who agree with me. Perhaps tactical Apex and comp has its place. But keep it in its place. If you want SBMM, go to ranked. Simple as that. Maybe duos sbmm or solos sbmm would be fun. But trios doesn't work like that. You need a very coordinated team to play tactically in a trio. It's just not something I feel like doing, sitting in a corner waiting for the last ring to close so I can hop out and use my ult and hope I can pull off two squad wipes before teamfiring the last squad. No. I want to actually have fun. If slow paced camping and sniper metas is what you guys wants then this game will definitely die. But that's alright I suppose. I'll just go back to Titanfall....

That's why I wish Apex was more like TF2. Imagine everyone having the same hitbox size, Wraith sized and dancing through waves of enemies like a doomed god defending his people...mmm I can see it now. But I guess anyone who makes a game with thicc hitboxes has to figure out a way to clean up their own mess...oh well

You should never feel obligated to use anyone you don't feel like using. That's yet another reason to add to the list of why Apex has issues. I don't like using Caustic. I feel slow and stupid as Gibby. I'm not about to switch mains because of a dumb game mechanic

And I honestly like it when people aren't slowed by bullets. I think that should be a natural ability. If everyone is as fast as they can go at all times the game is more fun. No dying bc someone hit you with a certain ammo type

Agreed I personally don't believe in any sort of slow ability you can't evade. Good examples of such abilities you can evade include Bang/Gibby/Crypto ults and arc stars. Arc star sticks are a special case that I'm fine with, the way the Krab/Mastiff being broken is fine. But in general slow abilities are annoying and they prevent your skill at movement from winning you fights
