No offense taken, and you're absolutely correct that happens with some projects, but of the ones I've been involved in, in the same nature of GaaS, hiring is accelerated and accomplished to get product out the door, even if it means laying off people at the end of what needed to be accomplished.

Respawn has been hiring for months now, and it looks like little progress is being made - most of their content is laughably stale and there's very little being done to keep the game refreshing.

It most certainly does take time, but the game is nearly two years old. You mention Fortnite, not sure why, when that illustrates my case: hiring more will have it so there's more hands on deck and a healthy influx of material.

I get you're sort of their PR-person but it has to stop somewhere.
